Gary McCormick
Custodian and Maintenance
Gary was born and raised in the mid-Michigan area. He had worked over 20 years in the automotive industry before relocating to Grand Marais with his wife, Dixie (our English Teacher!). He enjoys hiking, backpacking, photography, and sharing the outdoors with his family. When he isn’t cutting and splitting wood to keep the home-fires burning, he’s exploring and photographing the surrounding area.
A new addition to Burt Township staff in the 2011-2012 school year, he’ll now have an extra ‘activity’ to keep him busy…and although it can be tough cleaning up after the rest of the staff and students, we’re sure he’ll still have enough time and energy to enjoy all of his favorite things once outside of the school building.
